What do you need to do to prove medical malpractice?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

To prove a medical malpractice claim in Florida you need to bring in medical care providers as witnesses, we call them expert witnesses, who testify about the quality of the care provided by the defendants in the lawsuit. They have to come in and say, “the care that was provided is below the acceptable standards of care for similar providers.” And we have to provide proof that because of that failure, the patient has been harmed.
