Weston F. Smith

Weston F. Smith Weston F. Smith is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended St. Petersburg Catholic High School, The University of Florida (B.A. 1989), and Cumberland School of Law (J.D. 1992). He served as an Assistant State Attorney for Bernie McCabe in Pinellas County, Florida, from 1992 to 1997. Between 1997 and 2000 Mr. Smith practiced insurance defense litigation, defending insureds in automobile and general liability lawsuits.

Between 2000 and 2004 Mr. Smith was with the law firm of Deacon & Moulds, P.A., where he defended health care providers in medical malpractice and long term care lawsuits. He became a shareholder at that firm in 2004, whereupon it was renamed Deacon, Moulds and Smith.

Mr. Smith left that practice to become a shareholder at Masterson, Hoag & Smith, P.A. where he concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, legal malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death claims.
