About Our Firm and How We Serve ClientsReturn to FAQ Videos
The firm has been in existence for well over fifty years. The firm was initially started by my father. Matter of fact, our careers overlapped for about twenty years; we tried a number of cases together.
Our firm focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and legal malpractice cases. The cases that we usually take on are cases where the person has suffered a significant disability, catastrophic injury or death.
We understand that it is an extremely difficult time for you, for your family. You may wonder whether or not you may be able to work again. You may wonder whether you’re ever going to recover from the injuries that you’ve had. Maybe you already know that you’re not going to recover.
The firm has a policy that we accept only a limited number of clients. We do that so that we can give each case the attention that we feel is necessary with taking on each new case.
Once we make the decision to take on a case we treat the client’s problems as if they are our own, and we remain personally committed and work as a team to try to move their case along as quickly as possible and maximize their result.
We’ve handled hundreds of cases involving medical malpractice, cases involving death and catastrophic injuries. So, we know how this affects you, we know how it affects your family, we know how to guide you through the process of dealing with the medical bills, the loss of work, the expenses, and the overwhelming change that can occur because of the event like this.
Our philosophy is to take cases that are well justified, cases that have a strong liability, in other words, cases that we feel the client has been mistreated, either by a medical professional, attorney or has been injured because of someone else’s neglect.
One thing that is unique about our firm is our trial experience. We prepare every case as if it is going to go to trial. We feel that’s the best way to do it – that’s the only way to do it. The defense attorneys for the doctors and the insurance companies know which plaintiff lawyers are experienced at taking cases to trial, and good at taking cases to trial.
Clients come to us as a client, but we hope they leave as a friend. We really share their pain and their problems. This is not a situation where after the work day is done we go home and don’t think of our client’s case. We keep our cellphones on, allow them to contact our cellphones at any time. We want to be accessible because they are going through a difficult time, and that’s the representation that they deserve.
